Free ACSF Level 3 Literacy Practice Test

ACSF Level 3 is the most commonly required level of the Australian Core Skills Framework for reading and writing: it is the exit standard for Victoria Police and Fire Rescue Victoria entrance testing, the entry expectation for most Certificate III and IV courses, and the benchmark most Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessments check.

What ACSF Level 3 reading and writing means

  • At Level 3 you can read and interpret routine workplace and community texts: reports, procedures, articles and forms, including some less familiar content.
  • You can identify main ideas and supporting detail, make straightforward inferences, and notice how a text's purpose and audience shape its language.
  • You can write clear, structured texts with accurate everyday grammar, spelling and punctuation across several connected paragraphs.

What is ACSF Level 3 literacy?

Which tests use ACSF Level 3?

Victoria Police and Fire Rescue Victoria entrance tests are built to an exit Level 3 standard, and most Certificate III and IV courses screen applicants at Level 3 using an LLN assessment.

Is this the official ACSF test?
